ABOUT LOW RED
Low Red is extremely passionate about photography and her love of the art is her driving motivation. Whatever the subject, how the light plays on the scene is at the forefront of her vision of the shot and she describes her artistic journey as "looking for light". She has also achieved the high technical standards required to be enrolled as a Licentiate of The Royal Photographic Society (RPS). Lowie is a versatile photographer who is willing to take on any interesting project - please browse her diverse portfolio or get in touch to find out more about Low Red Photo services, prints and canvasses.
Lowie's favourite genre is black and white street photography / photo-journalism, where the use of light and shadows makes for wonderful images as in the work of Vivian Maier, Brassai, Bert Hardy and (her favourite) Bill Brandt and pioneer photo-journalists Robert Doisneau and Cartier-Bresson.
“Lovely photos that helped make a special day even more so. Lowie was very professional, unobtrusive but always there to capture the moment. We have lots of memories of our day and Mary was so pleased, especially with the pictures of her grandchildren. Thank you very much for your contribution!”
“Lowie is really passionate about great photography. She has natural eye for what makes a great photo which leads her to be particularly strong at reportage work such as street and music photography. She is also a perfectionist when it comes to her own work.”
